Crystal : Mounted : Tsavorite / Green Garnet Crystals on acrylic base

Green Garnet, Tsavorite, crystals mounted on 1” acrylic bases using museum putty. Weights vary from about 12 carats to about 21 carats. 

We will select for you. 

Origin is Merelani Hills, Tanzania.

Green Garnets are composed of Aluminum and Calcium with some trace of Chromium and Vanadium.
They have a MOHS hardness of 7.0 to 7.5.
Each specimen measures about 1/2" to 3/4".
Each specimen is significantly different from the next.

All rocks, crystals and gemstones have inherent defects. 
Any LARGE defects that we happen to notice, will be noted above.
