Rough : Tumble : Pietersite

Rough-tumbled Pietersite from Namibia.
These have not been tumbled to a polish or to eliminate blemishes.
For size reference, each individual box is 1-1/2" per side.

Pietersite is a brecciated mix of Tigers Eye, Hawks Eye and Jasper. 
Its color will range from dark-green to bluish to reddish.
On the MOHS scale, Pietersite measures 6.5 to 7.
Namibia is one of the very few places where Pietersite is found.
